Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of inpatient nursing experience required. License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS Required. CPI Required (Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training course). Must-Have: Telemetry experience required, 6 months travel nurse experience required, Med Surg telemetry experience required, and Cerner EMR experience required. Description: Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients' needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients. Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
