Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Greenwood, SC Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,166 to $1,366 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness to improve mobility, reduce pain, and increase function under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. A recruiter will follow up with assignment details upon application. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited educational program. Active South Carolina PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC preferred. Required if specified by the client. Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred, including restorative nursing programs and care of medically complex geriatric patients. Demonstrated competency with common PTA interventions and modalities used in post-acute and long-term care populations. Ability to follow treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist and to document per facility and regulatory requirements. Client requires candidates comfortable working with transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and durable medical equipment commonly used in SNF settings.
