of them.About the Role:The Payroll Administrator is responsible for
processing payroll for both hourly and salary employees,
maintaining payroll reports and records and addressing employee
inquires on payroll- related matters working with and through the
human resources group.-- --Main Responsibilities:Ensure accurate
and timely processing and recording of time and pay for multi-state
payroll which includes 500+ employees in a fast-paced environment
while meeting critical deadlinesResponsible for data completeness
in the timekeeping system and for data being properly interfaced
into the payroll systemCompile, balance, and ensure compliance
requirements are met for additional earnings submissions, time
corrections, and rate overrides submitted from multiple locations
and validate results in the payroll systemReview payroll reports to
confirm data is balanced with timekeeping and department/base
submission reports to ensure accuracy and identify any out-of-
balance conditions needing correctionProcess unemployment claims
through a third party vendorProvide support for external and
internal audits related to pay itemsSupport payroll projects,
process improvement initiatives and other duties as
assignedUnderstand and apply company policy, corporate agreements,
and state/government regulations effecting payroll proceduresWho we
are looking for:Associates degree along with previous experience in
a similar role preferred, or 3+ years of relevant experience
requiredStrong knowledge of employment laws and practices.Excellent
computer skills in a Microsoft MS environment including Excel and
demonstrated skills in database management and record keepingStrong
organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to
detailPrevious experience with large payroll system; UKG, KRONOS
and SAP a plusAbility to manage conflicting priorities and workload
pressure of strict deadlinesMust maintain a high level of
confidentiality and sensitive information.Excellent project
management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage
multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced team environmentHow
