Job Description Job Description We are looking for a dedicated
Network Technician to join our team in Anderson, South Carolina. In
this role, you will work extensively with Cisco and Fortinet
technologies to ensure the smooth operation and security of network
systems. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an
excellent opportunity to grow in an innovative IT environment.
Responsibilities: • Configure, install, and maintain network
devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions,
with a focus on Cisco and Fortinet platforms. • Monitor and analyze
network performance to identify and resolve connectivity issues and
system outages. • Conduct regular updates, maintenance, and
firmware upgrades for critical network hardware. • Troubleshoot
complex network problems and collaborate with vendors and support
teams to implement solutions. • Apply network security protocols
and best practices to safeguard systems in alignment with company
policies. • Maintain accurate documentation of network
configurations, updates, and procedures for future reference. •
Assist in planning and executing network upgrades, migrations, and
expansions. • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues
and end users to address network-related concerns. • Stay informed
about advancements in networking technologies, specifically within
Cisco and Fortinet ecosystems.• Proven work experience in network
administration or technician roles, with expertise in Cisco and
Fortinet products. • Comprehensive knowledge of IP protocols, VLAN
configurations, and routing architectures. • Hands-on experience
with network security features, including firewalls, VPNs, and LAN
systems. • Familiarity with Active Directory and its integration
within network environments. • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP,
or Fortinet NSE are highly desirable. • Strong problem-solving
skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
effectively. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to
document procedures clearly. • Commitment to staying up-to-date
with the latest networking technologies and practices.
