Location: Atlanta, GA The ideal candidate will handle a caseload of
workers' compensation defense matters from inception through
resolution. This role involves working closely with insurance
carriers, employers, and claims professionals to develop efficient
litigation strategies and achieve cost-effective outcomes. Key
Responsibilities - Manage a caseload of workers' compensation
defense matters - Represent clients at hearings, mediations,
depositions, and conferences - Draft and respond to pleadings,
motions, and discovery - Provide legal analysis and strategic
guidance to carriers and employers - Communicate regularly with
clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel - Negotiate settlements
and attend mediations Qualifications - J.D. from an accredited law
school - Active license to practice law in Georgia - 3 years of
workers' compensation or insurance defense experience preferred -
Strong litigation, negotiation, and communication skills - Ability
to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment -
