Job Description Job Description Description: PLANNER I You don’t
just follow the schedule — you make it work. Manufacturing | CNC
Machining Environment Industrial Manufacturing | Gas Turbine
Experience a Plus We’re looking for a Value Stream Planner I who
understands that a schedule is only as good as the materials,
capacity, and reality behind it. If you like solving flow problems,
hate bottlenecks, and get suspicious when inventory “looks fine,”
this role is for you. What You’ll Be Doing Build and maintain
realistic production schedules based on demand, materials, and
capacity Manage end-to-end value stream performance — not just
dates in the system Adjust plans when machines go down, priorities
change, or reality intervenes Ensure materials are available when
needed (not too early, not too late) Use the ERP/MRP system to keep
schedules accurate, current, and executable Partner with
production, materials, purchasing, and warehouse teams to keep flow
moving Identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve lead times
using Lean principles Track and report KPIs like schedule
adherence, on-time delivery, WIP, and inventory accuracy In short:
you help turn demand into finished parts — without chaos. ? What
Makes You a Fit 4-6 years in a CNC machining manufacturing
environment Experience with planning, scheduling, and/or value
stream mapping Comfortable working in ERP/MRP systems (you trust
data, but verify it) Able to read and understand drawings, routers,
and process specs APICS / CPIM certification? Great bonus, not a
dealbreaker Industrial gas turbine experience? Even better — we’ll
notice immediately Skills That Matter Here Strong analytical and
problem-solving mindset Attention to detail (because small misses
become big problems) Ability to juggle multiple priorities without
losing your cool Confident communicator who can work
cross-functionally Comfortable working independently and making
sound decisions Lean-minded, improvement-focused, and allergic to
waste Why This Role Is Worth Your Time Direct impact on production
performance and customer delivery Exposure to the full value stream
— not a siloed planning role Collaboration with operations,
quality, supply chain, and leadership A role where your ideas to
improve flow are expected, not ignored Real manufacturing problems,
not spreadsheet theater If you like connecting the dots between
demand, materials, capacity, and execution , we should talk. Ushers
