We are actively looking for CAREGiverSM who can share their heart and give their passion for caring for others a purpose.By joining our family of CAREGiverSM, not only will you have the benefit of knowing that you have made a real difference for a Senior in your community but we also offer:---Competitive pay-Flexible schedules-Valuable training and education-Personal introductions to your Client before your first shift by one of our friendly and supportive office staff-Access to Telemedicine (easy-to-use virtual doctor visits) for you and your family when illness strikes, giving you 24/7 access to doctors by mobile app or phone.As a--CAREGiverSM with Home Instead, you will: &bull Provide Companionship, Home Helper Services, and Personal Care which could include: &bull Companionship and conversation &bull Providing stabilization and assistance with walking &bull Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items &bull Providing medication reminders and appointment reminders &bull Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.) &bull Washing and ironing laundry &bull Running errands &bull Accompanying clients to appointments &bull Assisting with bathing, grooming and--dressing &bull Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues &bull Alzheimer's Care.Essential Job Requirements:----&bull Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds &bull Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach &bull Ability to consistently provide physical assistance to a client (i.e. stand-by assistance while walking, assist client with transfers) &bull Complete a satisfactory criminal background check, DMV check, pre-employment drug screen &bull Possess a valid driver's license for at least 3 years, and have access to a reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance &bull Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect &bull Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations &bull Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.--A preferred candidate would be flexible in the number of hours needed per week as this is a part-time position.--Experience is preferred but not required.If you are interested in joining our Home Instead family where you can laugh, learn, and love,--find out more at www.homeinstead.com/788----Each Home Instead franchise is independently owned and operated.
