Position Summary

Manufacturing Reliability Site Resource

Position Profile:

The Manufacturing Reliability Site Resource will drive site initiative to improve OEE and deliver cost savings through building capability in Lean/TPM methodologies.

Key Relationships: Will interact with all levels of the plant (management, supervisors, and hourly employees) in communication and capability building.


* Supervises loss analysis, ideation sessions and small team activities to deliver cost savings. * Deploys Lean/TPM strategic methodologies, systems, and tools, such as Autonomous Maintenance, Reliability Maintenance, BDE, SMED, Problem Solving, Green Belt/Black Belt Project, Value Stream Mapping, etc. to deliver site OEE and cost saving goals. * Use Lean/TPM tools to support project ideation and diagnostics and to track projects for visibility. * Provide tracking and regular communication for various plant functions and teams regarding Manufacturing Reliability progresses. * Integrate system health and project monitoring into current Lean/TPM structure (Pillar meetings, Daily Direction Meetings) to ensure sustainability of improvements. * Identify and troubleshoot chronic and sporadic losses through data analysis by collaborating with hourly personnel and supervisors. * Drive losses to zero using Statistical Process Control, Six Sigma and other Lean/TPM principles * Utilize LEAN/TPM (Reliability Maintenance) systems and tools to deliver a reduction in breakdowns * Drive restoration to base condition of bottleneck equipment through Autonomous Maintenance and Reliability Maintenance execution (CILs, Centerlines, Defect Handling, 5S, Visual Management, etc.). * Build capability in the Reliability Maintenance Pillar team to effectively plan, schedule, and execute work; install and sustain the Breakdown Elimination and equipment classification systems. * Identify and implement technology improvements. * Build capability by developing and executing training for operations, leadership and plant associates on LEAN/TPM methodologies, systems and tools. * Support plant implementation of Autonomous Maintenance and Reliability Maintenance by coaching supervisors/ managers to ensure their capability work teams. * Promote a change of culture within the group/site - especially at the front line level

Manufacturing Plant Environment:

* Work environment includes plant, warehouse and plant grounds * Must be capable of lots of walking, and climbing * Must be able to work with various vendors, trainers, etc. * This position may require approximately 5% travel * May require work coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays.

Education & Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or Technical or Business Field * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization * Ability to plan and manage priorities * Demonstrated problem-soling and analytical skills * Manage complexity * Ability to lead cross functional teams across all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience leading continuous improvement projects (Six Sigma, Lean/TPM, IWS, HPO) * Past experience in Design of Experiments (DOE) * Experience in leading capital and/or maintenance projects
