Job Title/Summary Job Title: Concrete Finisher Location: Reeves East Region - Augusta, GA Status: Non-Exempt Main Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Includes, but not limited to:) * Must have prior experience in concrete placing and finishing. * Must have experience in sidewalk and/or curb and gutter construction. * Must possess the knowledge of a form setter. * Must be able to carry out detailed instructions but also be motivated to work without direct supervision. * Must be able to provide an accurate and quality finished product for the company and its customers. * Must understand the uses and techniques of miscellaneous hand and finishing tools and also comprehend the techniques associated with placing and finishing of concrete. * Must have the ability to work safely and follow the policies and procedures of the company. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None Skills, Qualifications & Competencies QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, written or oral instructions.
