Services provided at the hospital include emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health services.QualificationsThis position is responsible for greeting, collecting and processing all non-scheduled patients to gather the necessary demographic information required in accordance with all regulations and hospital policies to provide care for the patients, procure reimbursement verification from third parties and maintain records appropriately.Educational requirements: Associate degree in business or related major required. Equivalent office exprience may be considered in lieu of degree.Work Experience requirements: Minimum of two years experience in a health care facility or equivalent position.Required skills, knowledge and abilities: Medical Terminology (basic), Phone etiquette, Microsoft excel, good mathematical skills, detail oriented. Knowledge of insurance processing requirements (auth, verification, terms, and regulations), analytical skills.This opportunity offers the following:
