Job Description:

Title: Onsite Print AdministratorLocation: Fort Gordon, GAType: W2 contract, 12 months +Responsibilities:

  • Replace consumables, including customer provided paper, at each device location.
  • Ensure adequate consumables are available at customer sites.
  • Manage the printer fleet locations manually or with tools and provide results to HP Client Manager as needed.
  • Apply knowledge of NT/Unix/Microsoft platforms to resolve network related issues with the Fleet.
  • Manage printers on a print server (May need to add or remove).
  • Perform initial trouble shooting to assist in repair or reporting to the Help Desk.
  • Clear paper jams.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on devices as required.
  • Pull error codes and provide problem description to the help -desk.
  • Swap out devices with spares as needed.
  • Escort HP Customer Engineers so they can perform repairs.
  • Assist end user with device functionality.
  • Assist with the collection of usage pages per devices as needed.
  • Use web-based SW to manage fleet - proactive monitoring using HP Webjet Admin preferred.
  • Manage Pharos print anywhere software preferred.
  • If non-HP printers are onsite, coordinate with 3rd party suppliers for supplies and service.
  • Will report to Client Manager and could be assigned to a specific account or work on multiple accounts if required, travel limited to current site.
