TITLE: CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALIST LOCATION: GROVETOWN,
GAREPORTS TO: CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGERUnder general supervision and
according to GIW standards and processes: 1. PARTS QUOTATIONS a.
Respond to requests for quotations (inquiries) from customers.
Generate and distribute quotes. Quotes include, but are not limited
to: product verification, pricing, delivery schedule, and
recommended parts. 2. PARTS ORDERS a. Confirm product, price, and
delivery, and reconcile to the customer PO. Generate and distribute
sales orders. Process change orders as required. b. Enforce GIW
Terms and Conditions, including Cancellation and Restock fees. c.
Continual coordination and open communication with the customer,
sales personnel, and all other relevant GIW departments to ensure
customers specifications and delivery requirements are met. 3.
ADMINISTRATIVE a. Facilitate the investigation of customer issues
and provide documentation that supports an appropriate resolution.
b. Provide monthly reports to Region Managers regarding pending
quote reports and sales activity in their specified region. Issue
order status reports to customers for pumps and parts, as needed.
c. Assists sales personnel and others as necessary, related to
Customer Cross Reference files, Consignment Accounts and or
long-term pump parts contracts. d. Perform job responsibilities and
duties as assigned, within defined time frames established by the
manager. 4. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS a. Serve as main contact for a
designated market or region supporting customers and sales channel
organizations and personnel. b. Develop and maintain excellent
customer service skills and professional oral and written
communications. c. Develop and maintain relationships with
customers and associates that add value to GIW's services. d.
Provide backup for teammates when required. e. Perform duties in a
manner that exhibits accountability, courtesy, timeliness,
initiative and professionalism. f. Maintain an organized, safe,
healthy work environment. g. Provide customer focused service with
processes that are targeted to achieving company objectives. GIW
