Centerra-Savannah River Site (SRS) is seeking highly motivated women and men who desire to serve as members of our Protective Force to protect Special Nuclear Material (SNM) by acting as a deterrent to theft through armed physical presence and controlling access to SNM through verification of valid security badges and following established policies and procedures governing access to SNM. - Military, law enforcement, security experience and/or at least an Associate degree are preferred, but not required. - Applicant must successfully pass a Tactical Response Force I training class scheduled to begin May 8, 2023 - August 17, 2023, which includes site-specific training, weapons and physical requirements. - Starting Rate is $21.22/hour with a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus upon the successful completion of all pre-employment and training requirements. - Eligibility for Health & Welfare fringe benefit rate is $4.80 per hour. - Applicants are subject to a federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. - EXCELLENT BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION. - Interested candidates must forward the following: - Cover Letter, Current Resume, and WorkKeys - tests scores for Workplace Documents (Minimum score 5) and Workplace Observation (Minimum score 3). - All requested documents must be submitted at the time of application.
