Job Title: Systems Administrator Job Location: Fort Gordon Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret clearance Certifications: Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification The Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day server services and planning, implementing, and continuously improving server/application services for the customer. This includes, but is not limited to: + Work with Network Team to plan, install, and configure new hardware and software for enterprise solutions + Perform pro-active support functions and reporting to maintain the integrity of Windows and Linux RedHat enterprise environment and business function + Verifying system security and Information Assurance (IA) posture and Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) compliance of systems on Coalition networks and in the Trace Dev Lab + Work on assigned tickets involving incidents that affect the functionality and stability of customers' IT systems, environments, or infrastructure + Assist in the deployment, operation, and maintenance of various information technology systems + Implement, monitor, and document mitigation and remediation progress + Develop operations and maintenance documentation Minimum Qualifications: + Experience with solutions such as server virtualization, high-availability clustering, and system design + Experience in the implementation of cross-domain solutions + Knowledge of MS Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019) environments and ability to build, configure, and maintain + Understanding core communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SSL, and HTTP/S. + Knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and ability to build, configure, and maintain via Command Line Interface (CLI) + PowerShell scripting experience Desired Qualifications: + Strong experience with Enterprise level VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure implementation and development + Excellent understanding of open-source frameworks, with experience deploying various open-source packages and/or application stacks into sponsor's production landscape + Understanding of clustered or pooled virtualization concepts from leading platforms such as VMware vSphere Education: + Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Math, Engineering). With ten years of directly related experience, a degree is not required.
