Pulmonology and Urology Care. You will work with a Care Team of
physicians, advanced practitioners and staff providing
compassionate and quality care. We have a welcoming environment and
believe in strong team engagement. Website: The LVN/LPN is
responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties
which include:
- Assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the
direction of a physician.
- Interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (i.e., pulse rate,
temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), venipuncture and
procedure as directed by the physician.
- Documents in the Electronic Medical Record in accordance with
IPM guideline.
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Assists
in covering the front desk as required.
- Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions,
administers prescribed medications, and monitors and documents
treatment progress and patient response.
- Delegates as allowed under the Nurse Practice Act.
- Refers to and consults with physicians, other health providers,
and community resources to prevent/resolve problems or
concerns.
- Educates patients and families about health status, health
maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, Licensure, Training & Travel
Requirements
- Completion of LPN/LVN nursing training from an accredited
school of nursing.
- Minimum of one (1) year college or Technical School. Associates
Degree preferred.
- Current state registered license for LPN/LVN required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum of one (1) years working as a Licensed
Practical/Vocational Nurse required.
- Proficiency in basic computer programs and operating systems,
such as Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal
skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Office equipment such as fax machine, copier and telephone
system
- EKG machine
