Job TitleLift Truck Operator Night ShiftPosition Overview.Essential Duties (considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge and responsibility):Comply with procedures found in SMS. Perform all daily job assignments, using safe work methods. Comply with corporate absenteeism and tardiness policy. Work normally scheduled days adhering to starting and stopping times. Work overtime as required. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Comply with Shaw Environmental System (SES) procedures. Complies with SAFE System procedures.Operate a lift truckMust be able to properly check out and operate a lift truck, ref. PIT training Manual Stack, un-stack and transport boxes, stretch wraps, cages, bins, pallets, bales and bundles with a lift truck Load/Unload trailersReceive incoming raw materials, packaging materials and suppliesInspects and verifies quantity Distribute paperwork to the proper department Transports material to the proper locationMaintain raw materials and packaging materials for production department's useUnloads incoming trailers of production materials Locates raw materials and packaging materials in the warehouse Maintain organization of storage areas in warehouseConduct inventories and audits.Cycle inventories of yarn, chips, reclaim and waste Assist in reconciling inventory and making corrections Properly locate product in the warehouse Correct product inventory and location discrepanciesOperate machineryUnderstands stretch wrap machine operationWork Shift12 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PMShaw Industries is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
