Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Controls/Systems Engineer to join our
team at a leading Food/Chemical manufacturing company. Key
Responsibilities:Develop and design control systems tailored for
food ingredient manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with
industry standards and regulatory requirements.Oversee the
installation and integration of automation systems to enhance
operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and optimize production
output.Proficiently program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
to control various processes, ensuring precision, reliability, and
adherence to safety protocols.Design, configure, and maintain
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems to monitor
and control manufacturing processes in real-time.Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process
optimization and efficiency improvements, implementing changes to
enhance overall system performance.Conduct risk assessments on
control systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and
implementing measures to ensure the security and integrity of
manufacturing processes.Maintain comprehensive documentation of
control systems, automation processes, and changes made to ensure
accurate records and facilitate troubleshooting.Work closely with
maintenance and production teams to provide technical support,
troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive maintenance measures
for control systems.Ensure that all control systems and automation
processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including
food safety standards and industry best
practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical
Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field PREFERRED NOT
REQUIRED.Proven experience as a Systems Engineer in the food
manufacturing industry, preferably with a focus on food
ingredients.Proficiency in PLC programming and SCADA systems.Strong
knowledge of control systems, automation, and process
optimization.Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and
requirements for food ingredient manufacturing.Excellent
problem-solving and communication skills
