AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER Under general supervision, plans, manages, and evaluates social services programs. Administers and coordinates the services and program activities in dependency, mental illness, youth development, or physical or developmental disability programs. Establishes and maintains relationships with other agencies and organizations in the community in order to meet community needs and prevent duplication of services. Evaluates the provision and quality of recommended services to assure compliance with program requirements and policies. Guides and oversees the distribution of resources. Identifies and/or manages grants, contracts, and other facets associated with the programs. Implements, coordinates, monitor and evaluate social services programs. Organizes community stakeholders and resources to identify proactive and effective solutions. Participates in the determination of organizational policies regarding such issues as participant eligibility, program requirements and program benefits. Provides policy and/or management guidance to representatives of the programs Salary details: Position will be filled at the level of a Social Services Provider 1 or 2, depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. See salary ranges below: Social Service Provider 1, Job code SSP031, Pay grade - I, Salary Range - $29,973.63 - $42,819.47. OR Social Service Provider 2, Job code SSP032, Pay grade - J, Salary Range - $32,970.99 - $47,101.41. Minimum Qualifications: Social Services Provider 1 Master`s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work , Marriage and Family therapy, Rehabilitation Counseling, Professional Counseling, or Masters of Education Counseling AND Eligibility to be licensed as a counselor in the State of Georgia. OR Social Services Provider 2 Master`s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Rehabilitation Counseling, Professional Counseling, or Masters of Education Counseling AND Two (2) years of related postgraduate experience, AND Eligibility to be licensed as a counselor in the State of Georgia. Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience. Note: Some positions require eligibility for licensure.
