Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.ResponsibilitiesUnder close supervision, learn and perform basic test procedures in the area assigned. Also, organize and report the results in a clear manner.* Essential Functions:* Learn basic test procedures in the area assigned.* Meticulously follow test procedures.* Complete testing assignments in a timely manner.* Organize test results and summarize in table/graphical format with totals and other specified statistics (such as standard deviation, Cpk, etc.).* Generate certifications from test data.* Communication (verbal and written) with customers, sales & marketing and customer service for quality issues.* Follow instructions during plant trials for collecting samples, operating equipment and performing specific process operations.* Legibly record observations, gage readings, measurements and operator comments made during plant trials.QualificationsAdditional Requirements:* Must be proficient in basic math, reading, writing and computer (Word and Excel) skills.* Must be able to work with subordinates, peers and superiors in all departments and outside the company.* Follow the company's safety, sexual harassment, discrimination and general employee policies.* Report deviations of any company policy to the Department Manager.* Record and report the time spent on each project according to the department's accounting policies.* Notify the Manager when all the given tasks have been completed.* Occasionally perform tasks not described in this position description in order to meet the requirements of this position.Individual must be a:* Citizen of the United States, or* Permanent resident alien of the United States, or* Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent, proficient in basic math skills - fractions, multiplication, division, addition and subtraction. Must be able to use measurement tools such as rulers, tape measures etc. Experience is preferred but not required, this is a training position to determine potential for advancement.Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work standing for up to 8 hours per day, with appropriate breaks. Must be able to climb ladders, crawl under equipment, crawl on top of equipment according to the companies safety guidelines.
