Eaton's Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Production Coordinator in MFG Production to join our team. This position is based at our Greenwood-Emerald Rd. facility. The Production Coordinator is responsible for planning, processing, and requesting manufacturing information utilizing computer generated data reports. Scheduling and releasing production orders within assigned areas. Assist in the control of inventory and maintain required levels of WIP. Work closely with production on inventory levels and escalate to Purchasing when required. Ensure all shortages for area(s) of responsibility are known to include latest promise date for each shortage and close follow through until shortage is installed. Update and maintain the Master Production Schedule for area(s) of responsibility. Daily COGI reconciliation and work order processing required. Including the review status of orders and materials to identify and plan for future requirements. * You will help manage cycle counts and physical inventory of designated value streams. This may require you to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 lbs. * You will reschedule sales orders accordingly working directly with production leaders and shipping. * You will review and update status of orders and materials with manufacturing supervisors, material control personnel, and people in work areas, customer service, and KanBan expeditors. Includes regularly scheduled multi-functional production meetings which vary from once a week to daily depending on area(s) of responsibility. * You will utilize computer, including the utilization of AS400, and SAP to maintain control of floor stock and floor records. * You will initiate critical material requirements reports and prepare special reports as assigned. * You will process surplus, rejected and/or defective material according to procedures. Process change notices and work with supply chain on production updates. * You will process emergency customer request orders generated by customer service. * You will problem solve manufacturing information by identifying missing and incorrect items, incorrect drawing revision, parts that need to be ordered and unacceptable vendor supply dates. * You will assist lower coded operators or perform tasks of lower coded positions. * You will perform calibration duties and handle warranty returns as needed. * You will observe all safety and hygiene requirements as specified or directed. Maintain a clean, orderly and safe workplace. * All employees are expected to comply with the environment, health, and safety guidelines.
