Overview









We are hiring for a Technician I in our Greenwood, SC area.--This position will report to the manufacturing supervisor and be responsible for operating multiple machines on production floor for our QuickSnap product line.--This position is requiered to be onsite and will work a rotating shift.--FUJIFILM North America Corporation consists of five divisions including Imaging, Electronic Imaging, Graphic Systems, Optical Devices, and Industrial Products and Corporate New Business Development.--These companies market a broad range of consumer and commercial products in North America and Latin America.-- The Imaging Division (ID) provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services. The Electronic Imaging Division (EID) markets consumer digital cameras; the Graphic Systems Division (GSD) supplies products and services to the graphic printing industry; the Optical Devices Division (OD) provides optical lenses for broadcast, cinematography, closed circuit television and binoculars.-- The Industrial Products Division (IPD) supplies cutting edge digital imaging and conventional film, chemistry and equipment to the NDT industry.

Responsibilities

• Performs one or more functions, such as, injection molding, assembly, packing, labeling, banding, and wrapping product.
• Responsible for start and stop of machines while ensuring no malfunctions.
• Makes routine machine adjustments or repairs, such as, clearing jams, setting guides, while running of equipment.
• Performs manual packing operations, such as, wrapping, boxing, labeling, and other related tasks as needed.
• Handles raw materials, finished product and associated documentation using production and warehouse management systems, such as SAP.
• Transports product and supplies between departments and/or locations, may load trailers or shipping containers.
• May operate different types of powered forklift trucks.
• Maintains packaging supplies, such as, wrapping paper, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, labels, and other necessary supplies.
• Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices, prepares materials for camera lines and unloads packaged product.
• Performs quality inspection to ensure that products meet quality specifications.
• Maintains records, such as, production volume, product type, quality check sheets, machine check sheets, and other necessary records.
• Effectively works with others within the team to achieve team goals.
• Effectively communicates with co-workers and supervisor.
• Follows Fujifilm's Employee Code of Conduct Policy and adheres to Fujifilm Safety Policies and Procedures.Required Skills/Education
  • Must have some computer knowledge, and good mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be detail oriented, with strong verbal and written communication skills. --
  • Prefer knowledge of MES and using the RF Scanner system.
  • Must have general Forklift experience.
  • Must be able to obtain forklift certification and be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. This position will work on your feet for a majority of your shift.
  • Must be able to perform calmly and efficiently under stressful situations.
