Job Description:

New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a resource for a 4-month contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion.Compensation: $36.50 per hourFacilities Technician is to provide general maintenance support for the assigned buildings. Job Responsibilities: Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. Troubleshoot power, HVAC system and controls, and mechanical systems. Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management. Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed. Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested. Skills: Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage their time. Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 8-10 years experience requiredOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as New Journey/Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
