Hiring Department Department of Otolaryngology Job Description
The Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the
University of Missouri School of Medicine is seeking a fellowship
trained Laryngologist to join our team. Our team is comprised of 15
Otolaryngology clinical Faculty, 3 research Faculty, 7 Advanced
Practice Practitioners and 14 Audiologists in an academic program
with remarkable opportunities in teaching, research, and clinical
otolaryngology. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic,
academic multi-specialty group practice providing comprehensive,
multi-disciplinary care. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
MD/DO and fellowship training in laryngology. Candidates will be
evaluated on: extensive experience in managing both common and
complex laryngeal conditions, including vocal cord lesions,
laryngeal cancer, laryngopharyngeal reflux, vocal cord paralysis,
and airway reconstruction. Adept at treating vocal cord injuries,
especially those resulting from overuse, trauma, or surgical
complications. Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative
mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.
