A reputable school district in Jefferson, GA, is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support the needs of elementary students in an onsite setting. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week during the current school year, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students social and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities: - Provide social work services to elementary students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop support plans and interventions. - Conduct assessments and create individualized plans to assist students in overcoming challenges affecting academic success. - Link students and families to community resources and support networks as needed. - Maintain thorough documentation of case work and comply with all school policies and state regulations.
