Job Description Job Description 1st Shift Controls Engineer opening with a stable, growing manufacturing operation in the Greenville, SC area. This role supports and improves automated CNC machining processes across the facility, focusing on equipment reliability, performance, and long-term process stability. You will work directly with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues, implement control logic improvements, and optimize automated machining cells. Requirements: • PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic edits (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens) • Online diagnostics while machine is running • Reading electrical schematics and machine wiring prints • IO troubleshooting (inputs/outputs not firing, stuck signals • Fanuc control familiarity • Siemens 840D / Mitsubishi / Okuma / Mazak exposure helpful • Understanding machine alarms and parameter faults • Axis faults, overtravel, servo following errors • Machine homing and reference return issues • Editing machine parameters Company Description Perceptive Recruiting has strong relationships in the IT and Technology industry and we'll connect you with right hiring managers!
