Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred; first timers accepted License: Georgia or Compact license required at the time of submission Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIH certification preferred Must-Have: - Minimum experience of 2 years - BLS and ACLS certifications Description: The position focuses on adult and geriatric patient populations. Patient diagnoses include CHF, MI, chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5, with an average daily census of 35. Experience with electronic medical record systems is required. Unit systems include Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR. Scrub color is navy blue. Flexibility to float to other units is required. Travelers are expected to work two of the three major holidays if assigned to those dates. Compliance is required to start on time. Orientation will be for 13 hours, which are non-billable.
