Job Description Pyramid Consulting is seeking a Registered Nurse
(RN) CDU - Clinical Decision Unit for a nursing job in Augusta,
Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CDU - Clinical
Decision Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration:
Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights -
Employment Type: Staff (RN) – Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) Key
Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee unit operations during
assigned night shifts to ensure safe, high-quality patient care -
Perform charge nurse duties including patient assignments, staffing
coordination, and unit flow management - Provide direct patient
care with a modified assignment as needed - Conduct daily patient
rounds to assess quality, safety, and appropriateness of care -
Support and oversee the nursing process using evidence-based
practice - Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
to optimize patient outcomes - Serve as a clinical resource,
mentor, and role model for nursing staff - Support staffing needs,
resource utilization, and survey readiness - Promote patient
safety, quality improvement, and compliance standards Must-Have
Skills & Qualifications: - Active RN license (State or Compact) -
Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) - Minimum 1 year of RN
experience - Prior relief charge or leadership experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making
skills - BLS required; ACLS preferred or obtainable upon hire -
Excellent communication, delegation, and team leadership skills -
Ability to work full-time night shifts in an acute care environment
